There are two types of area rugs fibers, which are synthetic and natural. It's easier to remove stains from synthetic area rug than natural. Synthetic area rugs also dry quicker than natural fiber rugs.  Synthetic area rugs are cheaper than your expensive natural fiber rugs such as; cotton, wool, oriental, and persian rugs.  Homeowners may make the mistake of cleaning their rug themselves which can cause damage to the rug fibers.  We use safe cleaning solutions with the proper ph levels specifically for natural fiber rugs to prevent bleeding.  

Area Rug Steam Cleaning

Lightly Soiled

Area Rug Steam Cleaning can be conducted on Synthetic and some Natural Fiber rugs.  Area rugs full of urine need to be cleaned by decontamination at our shop.  Minor urine stains on rugs can be removed with enzymes and steam cleaning.  Steam cleaning is not recommended for cotton, sisal or jute rugs.  Cotton, sisal and jute rugs have to go through another process for cleaning that require very low moisture and no heat.

Moderate to Heavily Soiled

Area Rug Shampooing is conducted at our shop for rugs that are moderate to heavily soiled.  Different types of shampoo is used for cleaning depending on the type of rug fiber.  Natural fiber rugs require a Shampoo PH balance of 7 or lower to prevent bleeding and damage.  Our professionals are properly trained in testing rugs for colorfastness and the type of fiber to determine the type of shampoo used for cleaning

Extreme Soiled and Urine

Area Rug Decontamination cleaning is for urine soaked rugs no questions asked.  This service have to be done in our shop. Every rug can't be soaked in our pit overnight due to the backing of the rug that can delaminate from the backing. Some rugs may need to be treated with a dye stabilizer to prevent bleeding before being placed in our pit.  Rugs are then treated with enzymes and placed in our pit of cold water between 12 - 24 hours.  After this step the rug is shampooed, rinsed and dried.

Neutralize bad odors in carpet fibers, so they can smell fresh again

Stain Removal

Removal of gum, wax, paint, nail polish, ink, blood, soda, wine, coffee, ect. It's not guaranteed to remove every stain. If customers request stain removal we will test the stain to see if it can be removed. Customers who take the risk of trying to remove a stain themselves, can prevent our stain removal products from working to remove the stain.
